One honest guide to where to sleep in Lapland
LaplandStays is a small guide to named properties. It prints no nightly rate of its own, because a rate typed into a page is out of date the week after, and it tells you when something is sold out 12 months ahead.
This is an editorial publisher, not a booking platform. When you click through to one of the booking partners, the contract is between you and them; reservations and payments are handled there. An affiliate commission is earned on bookings made through these links, but the commission rate is similar across the partner programme, so it has no influence on what is recommended.
LaPeso Oy is registered in Finland and operates from inside Finnish Lapland. The same place the guide writes about.

References to Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort, Levin Iglut, Star Arctic, Aurora Village Ivalo, Wilderness Hotel Nellim and Muotka, Apukka, Arctic TreeHouse, Nova Skyland, Lapland Hotels, Harriniva, by name, with deep links. No "premium 5-star property" without saying which one.
We print no nightly rate of our own: the price you see when you click through is the operator's, for the dates you pick. If a property is sold out for peak weeks, the page says so up front instead of routing you to a 0-result search.
Glass igloos are not for groups. Ski chalets are not for aurora-only travellers. Each category is framed by who it is for and who it is not, instead of selling everything to everyone.
Bus prices from KTT (€8), IVL (€15), RVN (€7). Which fells have ski-in / ski-out, which lakes face north for aurora horizons, which months book out 12 months ahead. The kind of detail a friend from Rovaniemi would mention.
